When we bought our new condo, we loved the location, the view and the layout, but we knew it was a major renovation project. We decided to call Wendi Ronspies Design. From our initial meeting, we developed a plan, and with Wendi's expertise and enthusiasm for the project, we were off and running. Soon it became quite clear that Wendi was able to line up sub-trades and manage them in a way that we would never have been able to do without her and. Since I have MS, it was important to me that the flooring had a smooth transition between rooms. Wendi found a beautiful vinyl plank with the same thickness as a very spectacular lino for the bathrooms. We love our new floor. Wendi was also able to encourage us to step a little bit out of our comfort zone and include some feature walls in our planning. This meant using a dark colour in a way that neither one of us has done before, and we love it! From the finish carpentry to the painting and flooring… little touches like new hardware on the cupboards. This project has come together in a way that it would never have if it were not for Wendi. I have had the privilege of working with Wendi Ronspies of Wendi Ronspies Design Studios regarding the Gasoline Farmers Market in Red Deer County. Throughout this difficult project, Wendi brought wonderful ideas, keen insight and had a totally professional attitude during the entire process. She brought years of experience to the table dealing with Architects, Contractors and the customer. Wendi was able to help all of them with each area of their expertise. Wendi was a joy to work with as she kept her sense of humour along with calm wisdom that seriously helped us achieve an outstanding end project. Her sense of proportion and ability to bring concepts and colours together really made this building unique and practical all at the same time. We have had tremendously positive feedback from anyone who was involved with this build. Especially with the public as we opened the doors and introduced this first-ever year-round market in Central Alberta.
